On a wooded lot in Chía, the house is made of two volumes of exposed concrete and timber, stacked and offset, with cantilevers that free the ground and green roofs that restore the planted surface the house occupies. The entrance is through a cobbled court and a steel footbridge over the void; concrete cylinders gather the vertical circulation and the services. Floor-to-ceiling glass faces the forest, and the mass of the concrete dampens the temperature swings of the cold climate.
